The reason why coconut oil should be your first pick

when it comes down to infusing oil with cannabis, is

because of it’s very high concentration of fatty acids

(saturated fats). The fact that the saturated fats are

way higher in concentration than most oil, it creates

a stronger binding agent for cannabinoids. That goes

without mentioning all the health benefits that coconut

oils naturally provides.

1 Cup Coconut oil

1 Cup of water

(Water is keeping the oil at a lower

temperature to avoid burning the THC)

20 gr Coarsely grinded Cannabis trim

(Placed in a cheese cloth tightly tied with a string)

Set a bowl over a double boiler on

a low simmer, melt the coconut oil,

add the water and the Cannabis.

Simmer for 3-4 hours.

Using a strainer, poor the infused oil

and water into another bowl, squeeze

the cheese cloth to extract any remaining oil.

Pour the strained liquid into a shallow

plastic container and store in the fridge

for about 4 hours or until the coconut

oil is fully solidified.

Poke a hole in the solidified oil

and discard all the water.

Using a paring knife, scrape the outside

of your infused oil to get rid of any impurity

or oxidation and wrap in plastic film.
